You’ve found the best music instruction Central Ohio has to offer. Prestige Music Studios, Inc. opened in Powell in June 2006, and we doubled our square footage to 5,000 sq ft in a ribbon cutting and open house on September 8, 2010 (pictured at right). For many reasons, you won’t find another music lessons company that has what we offer, especially for the price.

1. Our faculty instructors all have at least a bachelor degree in music or music education. We don’t hire college students or performers — our employees have collegiate study in music and/or music education. In addition, we aren’t just a network of teachers. All of our instructors are W2 employees who are trained in the methods we use, so there is continuity from teacher to teacher. In addition, this means that you know you are getting the best materials because we have reviewed and approved them.

2. Our tuition rates are reasonable. Starting at only $85 per month (discounts for multiple children, seniors and military), there is something here you can afford. When you request information online or over the phone, we will send you all of our tuition rates.

3. Everything is offered here! We have private instruction in piano, guitar, violin, brass instruments, woodwind instruments, percussion instruments and drumset, string instruments and voice. We can even help with composition and song writing, performance skills, music theory, audition preparation and much more. We have exploration or sampler classes for piano, guitar and violin. We have a RockShop class, a musical theatre program, an Irish music workshop, ensembles and many other opportunities. All of the musical arts, right here!

4. We will makeup or reschedule lessons. Just give us at least 48 hours notice for non-illness related conflicts, or be sure to call in the morning the student is sick, and we’ll makeup your lesson. Most studios do not permit make-up lessons, and you just lose your money. We make every attempt to work with you to reschedule missed lessons.

5. Suzuki and traditional methods available. We will help you choose which one is best for the student(s) in your family.

6. We have a centralized curriculum that is proven to work. Our teachers won’t use your child as a “guinea pig” to see if the latest methods work. We have a set curriculum that is the core of what we teach, but it provides ample opportunity for supplemental materials to keep the student motivated by being involved in the selection of fun music that the student wants to play.

7. Recitals, Piano Guild, Ohio Music Teachers Association, community events and more! You’ll never be at a loss for things to do here! We have two, optional recitals each year at state-of-the-art venues. In addition, our teachers can send students to Piano Guild and Ohio Music Teachers Association events. Furthermore, we are very involved in the community with frequent opportunities to perform.

8. We are a family owned studio, with helpful management. You’ll receive the cell phone number of the Studio Manager even, so that in the case of a problem you can reach her promptly. We all have individual extensions and email addresses, we return calls and emails before we close for the day (at the latest, we’ll respond by the following day) and we want to help you and your family have the best experience with music education. We are here for you, and to give you the gift of music enjoyment for a lifetime!

9. Convenience. We can come to your home anywhere in Central Ohio, you can come to our 5,000 sq ft state-of-the-art studio in Powell, or we can come to your school, day care center, church or homeschool group for classes. We offer lessons Monday-Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 12-5pm.

10. Flexibility and options. Choose whether you have a 30, 45, 60 or 90-minute weekly lesson. We offer lessons for ages 3-adult, usually once a week (twice a week and other options are available). And, you just pay by the month and give us 30 days notice to withdraw- there are no long-term commitments required. With all of the instruments and types of music instruction available at Prestige, your whole family can find what they are looking for to have fun with music!
